 I am the mother of three school-aged children, all of whom attend school in the Susanville School District. I currently run our two family businesses and try to participate as much as possible in our children’s extracurricular activities. I am the owner of my own Professional Engineering and Surveying Company, which I established in 2000. I have enjoyed designing and building many public agency projects in Lassen County over the last 11 years. I also run my husband’s dental office, which was established in 2009. We have lived in Susanville for 13 years, and enjoy all that the city has to offer in terms of outdoor activities, as we are avid mountain bikers, runners, and skiers. My primary focus as a Board Member is to try to navigate the limitations the State has placed on us with a woeful lack of funding and attempt to still create an educational environment for our children that does not reflect our current financial crisis. I believe we are well on the path to making important changes in the District, and I am excited for the goals we have in place.

 I have served on the Susanville School District Board since December of 2010 and am currently serving a 4 year term. My self, my husband, and our two boys have lived in Susanville since 2005.

 My husband and I have lived in Susanville since 1993. We have two children; both have attended the great schools of the Susanville School District. I work as a bookkeeper at Susanville Supermarket. I have been very involved in our community over the past eighteen years. I am a member of the Susanville Symphony Board of Trustees, as well as a former member of the Lassen County Chamber of Commerce, Meadow View Site Council, and Susanville Kiwanis Club. I am very proud to be the Board Clerk of the Susanville School District Board of Trustees.

 I am originally from Colorado but my husband and I have called Susanville home since 2005. I attended the University of Utah where I earned a degree in education. After teaching first grade for three years, I took a break to raise our four children. I love being involved in all aspects of education.

I am a stay-at-home mom of three children with one on the way. My oldest is currently in first grade and the next will attend Kindergarten next year. I have lived in Susanville since 1987 and have attended Diamond View School, Richmond School and graduated from Lassen High School in 1996. I’ve always enjoyed living in the Susanville Community and I am very excited to be a member of the Susanville School District Board of Trustees.
